Account and data deletion — Matt Chat
Matt Chat lets you delete your account and associated profile data from inside the app:
- Open Matt Chat and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
That removes your Matt Chat account, profile, @username, profile photo, and your stories. Messages you sent may still appear for people you chatted with; we cannot remove another user’s copy of a conversation from their device.
If you cannot use the app (for example you lost access to your device or sign-in), email us to request deletion. Include the email address you used to sign up so we can find your account:

We will respond within a reasonable time and delete the account and associated server-side profile data where we are able to identify your account.
